Zhao Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinotruk Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, stated in an interview that the company has achieved comprehensive, multi-path technological development and coordinated development across both traditional and new energy sectors, demonstrating strong innovation capabilities and industry leadership.
Zhao Hai explained that as a leading company in China’s commercial vehicle industry, Sinotruk has achieved full coverage of both fuel and gas vehicle models in the traditional energy sector, boasting a comprehensive product line and consistently maintaining its top market share nationwide. Regarding its new energy transition, the company is simultaneously pursuing four major technology paths: pure electric (charging/battery swapping), hybrid power, and hydrogen fuel cells. Adhering to a multi-pronged and coordinated approach, the company currently boasts a balanced technical pipeline across all areas, with no significant shortcomings, demonstrating its strengths in systematic R&D and industrialization.
