Sinotruk and Fengbao Heavy Industry Collaborate Deeply and Launch Fengbao Trailer Generator Axle Power System

On November 18, 2025, Sinotruk and Fengbao Heavy Industry announced a deep cooperation agreement and the grand launch of Fengbao’s trailer generator axle power system. At Fengbao Heavy Industry’s headquarters on the banks of the Hongqi Canal, Sinotruk and Henan Fengbao jointly opened a new chapter in new energy heavy-duty truck transportation.

Sinotruk and Fengbao Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, committed to building a regionally influential hub for the application of new energy commercial vehicles. Liu Zhengtao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sinotruk Group, commented that this was an inevitable choice for both parties to grasp the pulse of the times and implement the “dual-carbon” goal, and also a pragmatic action by Sinotruk to serve the construction of Linzhou’s green transportation system and accelerate its green transformation with high-end new energy equipment.

In his speech, Tian Yuanfei pointed out that the delivery of new energy vehicles not only marks a new journey in the cooperative development between Sinotruk and Henan Fengbao, but also has significant milestone significance for promoting the low-carbon transformation of transportation and building a green manufacturing system. At the same time, it injects strong momentum into the construction of Linzhou’s green logistics system.

In her speech, Li Jingmin highly praised Sinotruk for polishing the world-renowned brand of “Made in China” with its craftsmanship and responsibility. It was stated that in the future, Henan Fengbao Group will use this cooperation as a link to deeply integrate Sinotruk’s vision and technological advantages with Fengbao Group’s focus, tenacity, and industrial foundation, jointly forging a new era of industrial development with “green energy as its vein and intelligent technology as its soul,” allowing “Made in China” and “Created in China” to go global side by side, and letting the spirit of the Hongqi Canal travel the world and illuminate the journey.

Fengbao Heavy Industry’s “New Energy Trailer Generator Axle Power System” product was launched for the first time at the signing ceremony. Zhang Chaoxue, General Manager of Fengbao Heavy Industry, introduced that this new product shares a battery with the main vehicle and can generate electricity through braking, increasing the main vehicle’s range; the hybrid semi-trailer product is used for starting assistance, saving fuel consumption of the main vehicle, and can also regenerate energy through braking. It features lightweight design, low cost, and seamless integration with the main vehicle, with simultaneous upgrades to hardware and software, continuously promoting the development of new energy semi-trailer generator axle systems.

Before the ceremony, the participating leaders visited Fengbao Heavy Industry’s entire production process from casting to processing and assembly. At the ceremony, Dong Houfu, the product recommendation officer of Sinotruk HOWO, introduced the HOWO TX7 new energy tractor truck delivered this time.
