Recently, in an assessment conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and organized by the China Electronics and Information Industry Federation, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) successfully passed the rigorous review and officially obtained the “Quantitative Management Level” (Level 4) certification of the National Data Management Capability Maturity Model (DCMM). This certification signifies that CNHTC has reached a leading level in China’s manufacturing industry in terms of data management system construction, data governance capability improvement, and data value mining, laying a solid data foundation for its digital transformation and high-quality development.

DCMM Level 4 Certification

The Data Management Capability Maturity Model (DCMM), as the first officially released national standard in my country’s data management field, is currently the most authoritative and systematic data management capability assessment framework in the country. This model systematically covers eight core capability domains: data strategy, data governance, data architecture, data application, data security, data quality, data standards, and data lifecycle, and divides maturity into five progressively higher levels: Initial, Managed, Robust, Quantitatively Managed, and Optimizing. The “Quantitatively Managed” (Level 4) level requires enterprises to be able to quantitatively analyze and continuously optimize the data management process, achieving data-driven refined management and decision support, representing a key leap forward in the data capability building of many enterprises.
