Entering the Sinotruk smart factory is like stepping into a precision-operated “workshop of the future.” Its unique matrix layout and highly coordinated intelligent systems ensure flawless execution of every process with unparalleled precision and stability. Its welding shop houses two flexible, automated body welding lines, tasked with producing 100,000 heavy-duty truck cabs annually! On the busy and orderly production line, 223 robots automate processes such as assembly, welding, and gluing, achieving a 100% automation rate for weld points. Each process is meticulously designed and precisely executed, ensuring flawless product quality. 

Today, intelligent manufacturing has revolutionized every aspect of production. Traditional workshops, rife with sparks and bustling with activity, are a thing of the past. Human labor has been replaced by efficient and precise intelligent manufacturing systems. The entire welding workshop is managed by just five workers, representing only one-eightieth the number of employees compared to the old workshop. The entire workshop, with 38 complex processes, transforms a part into a machine head in just 2.5 hours, achieving a tremendous leap in productivity. These vehicles can not only charge while driving but also possess high flexibility and adaptability, injecting dynamic vitality into the efficient operation of the production line.

The factory’s intelligence is not only reflected in the production line but also permeates the entire production management system. Sinotruk’s independently developed intelligent manufacturing platform integrates data from six modules: planning, production, process, and quality. It provides real-time monitoring of equipment operating status, key quality information, and production plan completion, enabling transparent and intelligent management of the entire production process and ensuring complete control of every link. The central control system, as the core of this intelligent management system, acts as a “smart brain,” providing instant feedback on production efficiency and potential problems.
