The Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group held its 2025 annual democratic life meeting.

On February 6th, the Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group held its 2025 annual democratic life meeting. The meeting focused on thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, earnestly studying the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and relentlessly implementing the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation. It aimed to promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of work style construction, providing a strong political guarantee for the Group’s high-quality development. Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, presided over the meeting and delivered a concluding speech. The 28th Provincial Party Committee Supervision Group attended the meeting to provide guidance.

The Group’s Party Committee attached great importance to this democratic life meeting, carefully studying and formulating a plan, and meticulously organizing the event. Prior to the meeting, the Party Committee organized a theoretical study session for the central group, combining collective discussions with individual self-study. Members of the Party Committee widely solicited opinions and suggestions, conducted in-depth heart-to-heart talks, comprehensively reviewed and identified problems, deeply analyzed typical cases, and carefully prepared self-examination materials, making full preparations for the successful convening of the democratic life meeting.

The meeting reported on the Group’s Party Committee’s in-depth implementation of the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation, the rectification and reform efforts following the 2024 democratic life meeting and the special democratic life meeting on inspection rectification, and the opinions solicited for this democratic life meeting. Wang Zhijian, on behalf of the Group’s Party Committee, conducted a self-examination and led by example, followed by other Party Committee members who conducted self-examinations and engaged in serious criticism and self-criticism.

In his concluding remarks, Wang Zhijian emphasized the need to rigorously and practically identify and rectify problems in accordance with the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the work arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee, and the vision of building a world-class enterprise. He stressed the importance of strengthening Party building leadership and continuously consolidating the foundation of political loyalty. He called for in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly upholding the “two establishments” and resolutely achieving the “two safeguards,” shouldering the responsibility of “leading the way and taking on major responsibilities,” leveraging the leading role of high-end equipment enterprises, and contributing to the province’s green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Finally, he emphasized focusing on core responsibilities and main businesses to comprehensively build a world-class enterprise. We will remain focused on our core business, implementing our strategic plan to the end, and aiming to become a world-class multinational equipment manufacturing group. We will accelerate our strategic transformation towards green, global, digital, and ecological development, comprehensively enhancing our core competitiveness and brand influence, and ensuring that the Group’s reform and development achievements continue to lead the industry. We must strictly govern the Party and optimize the environment for entrepreneurship and innovation. We will consistently adhere to a strict tone, measures, and atmosphere, firmly implementing the political responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party. We will consolidate and expand the achievements of the in-depth study and education on the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation, establish a normalized and long-term disciplinary education mechanism, deeply promote the construction of a clean culture that emphasizes morality, diligence, and integrity, and focus on key areas and crucial links to deepen the rectification of problems such as “profiting from the company,” striving to build a clean and honest heavy industry.
